Draft for review
Business phone and records-retention schedule pending.
Qwiksnap is operated by QWIKSNAP APPLICATION HOSTING SERVICES in the Philippines (“we”, “us”). It lets event hosts collect photos and videos through an album link or QR code. These terms apply to hosts, invited co-hosts and guests. By creating an account or contributing to an album, you agree to these terms. Our Privacy policy explains how we handle personal information.
1. Your account and album
Hosts and co-hosts must be at least 18 and able to enter into an agreement. Keep your email account and sign-in links secure. If you act for a business or another person, you must have authority to do so. Guest names are self-reported, not verified identities.
The owner controls album settings and invites co-hosts, who can view, moderate and export album content. You are responsible for your invitations, the links and passcodes you share, and any permissions and notices required for your event.
Anyone with a live album link can access it unless a passcode is required. A QR code shares that same link. Shared mode lets guests see eligible uploads from other guests. Collection-box mode lets each guest see their own uploads while the owner and co-hosts see all uploads. The host can change settings, including the gallery mode. Disabling downloads cannot prevent screenshots or recall copies already saved.
2. Children and adult-attended events
Albums are for adult-attended events. When you create an album, you confirm that an adult will attend, and we record that confirmation. Do not use Qwiksnap for events directed at children. Adult attendance does not give permission to share a child's image: obtain permission from a parent or guardian where required and respect removal requests. Children should use the service only with a parent or guardian's permission and supervision, where legally permitted.
3. Your content and permission to share it
You keep the rights you hold in your photos, videos, captions and comments. Share only content you own or have permission to share, including any required permission from people shown in it. Do not upload sensitive personal information without a lawful basis and any consent needed to share it with the album's audience.
You give Qwiksnap non-exclusive permission to store, copy, resize, convert, display and deliver your content, including through our service providers, only as needed to operate the album and provide the features you use. This includes making it available to the owner, co-hosts and guests according to album settings. This permission does not transfer ownership or authorize advertising use.
This permission ends when the content is deleted from our systems, except for lawful retention for security, disputes or legal obligations. It does not recall copies downloaded by others. Access to an album does not give you ownership of someone else's content or permission to use it outside the event.
4. Acceptable use
Do not upload, share or facilitate:
- Illegal material, child sexual abuse or exploitation, or content that sexualizes children.
- Intimate imagery shared without permission, threats, harassment, hate or violence.
- Infringement of copyright, privacy or other rights, or disclosure of someone's private information without a lawful basis.
- Malware, phishing, fraud, spam or impersonation.
Do not bypass access controls, interfere with the service, scrape albums without authorization, or evade restrictions or plan limits. Use Qwiksnap for event albums rather than unrelated file hosting. We may refuse uploads, remove content, restrict an album or suspend an account to address a breach, security risk or legal obligation.
5. Plans, payments and credits
Draft albums are free. Free albums accept up to 100 photos, do not accept videos or include full ZIP export, and are limited to one active live Free album per owner. An Event purchase covers one album and includes 25 GB of original-file storage, 300 video minutes and ZIP export. Each clip counts as at least one minute, rounded up to a whole minute.
A coordinator pack contains 10 credits. One credit publishes one Event album or upgrades one Free album you own. Credits belong to the purchasing account, have no scheduled expiry and are not cash or a payment method outside Qwiksnap. Deleting an album does not automatically restore a spent credit.
Each add-on adds 10 GB of storage and 100 video minutes to one live Event album. It does not extend retention. Beyond the video-processing allowance, additional clips may be kept as originals without in-gallery playback; the owner, co-hosts and uploader can download them.
Checkout shows the total and currency before payment. Regional pricing uses an approximate country and browser timezone. HitPay processes payments, and purchases are applied when payment is confirmed. Purchases are one-time, with no automatic renewal. Your payment provider may apply its own conversion charges. New prices apply to future purchases.
Our Refund policy forms part of these terms. Refunds are available for duplicate charges, failed delivery of a purchased entitlement and where required by law.
6. Storage, retention and your own copies
Album media is kept after the event date for 1 month on Free and 6 months on Event and drafts. An Event album over its storage quota has a retention period of 3 months instead. Getting back within quota before expiry restores standard Event retention. We warn the owner and allow at least 30 days from that notice before an automatic retention purge.
Event uploads can continue beyond the storage quota, but new uploads stop when usage reaches twice the quota. Remove files or buy add-ons to make room. Separate upload windows, per-guest caps, file limits and moderation settings also apply. Moving an event date later is restricted after the event; changing it cannot extend storage indefinitely.
Qwiksnap is not permanent storage. Keep originals and save your copies before expiry or deletion. Expired media cannot be restored through the service. A later upgrade cannot recover a purged album, and download links can expire before an album does. The Privacy policy explains deletion delays and records that remain.
7. Reports, removal and restrictions
Use “Report or remove a photo” in the album's About panel or the report control in the viewer. You can ask Qwiksnap directly without the host's approval. Identify the album and item, explain the concern and include contact details if you want a reply. For copyright concerns, identify the work, your rights and the material you want removed. Do not send copies of illegal material.
If you cannot access the album, or want to challenge a restriction, contact [email protected].
We aim to review abuse reports within 24 hours and uploader removal requests within 72 hours. We may request verification, decline an unsupported request, or preserve information where legally required. Reporting does not guarantee deletion. Where appropriate, we may explain a restriction and review a challenge to it, unless that would create a safety risk or conflict with the law.
8. Service availability and responsibility
Uploads depend on your connection, device, file formats and available capacity. Processing and exports can take time. We take reasonable care to operate Qwiksnap, but cannot promise uninterrupted availability or that every file can be processed. Keep originals on your device and tell us promptly about a problem.
Hosts and guests remain responsible for their content and sharing decisions. Nothing in these terms excludes liability, warranties, privacy rights or consumer remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded. You may pursue complaints or remedies with the appropriate regulator or court under applicable law.
9. Applicable law and changes
Philippine law governs these terms, subject to mandatory protections under the law that applies to you. This does not require you to waive a consumer right or bring a claim in a place that mandatory law does not permit.
We will identify the effective date when these terms are finalized. For later material changes, we will give notice through the service or email where appropriate and seek renewed agreement where required. An update does not remove rights you already have under a purchase or applicable law.
